Unlike our original mandarin segments which have the white pith removed, this batch features segments with their natural outer membrane intact. While they have a fantastic sweet flavor and perfect crunch, the freeze-dried pith gives the segments a much firmer, crisp texture. They are ideal for adding a sweet and tart mandarin flavour to recipes, without the water content. Suitable for decorative work on cakes and pastries or as a component in desserts and savouries. Try them crushed and coated in white chocolate!
